Sentry RDO MAX Rollup Motor

The SENTRY® RDO MAX is a 3rd-generation roll-up door automation product designed for domestic and light industrial applications.

The product is designed to fit most Domestic Roll-Up Garage Doors that have plastic or metal spool wheels. It operates by applying a rotational force to one of these spool wheels which then in turn opens, or closes the door curtain as desired.

The RDO MAX system consists of two parts, one of which is the motorized portion, that drives the door, and fits inside the door curtain roll. This is known as the “Head Unit”. This part is controlled, electronically, from the “Wall Console”. The wall console contains the power source, and the remote control receiver and includes a courtesy light and a control button on the front cover. To keep wiring to a minimum, one LINK Cable, with plug in connectors is used between the units, for ease of use.

The system can operate off 220VAC mains power ONLY and has a 2x12V DC back-up batteries housed inside the operator. The system power supply also charges the batteries to maintain it in a fully charged state. The system provides limited battery back-up for mains failure situations. Alerts are provided for both mains failure and low battery conditions.

The system integrates a code hopping remote control receiver which is compatible with SENTRY® code hopping transmitters and SENTRY® code hopping compatible transmitters. A maximum of 100 remote controls buttons may be learnt into the system in total
